PROJECT FOR THE YEAR 2008

 

* Our main goal for 2008 was to set up an educational fund to cater for the needy but brilliant students /pupils in and around our areas of operations.    

* We intended to sponsor at least hundred or more students and people in and around our areas of operations.

* To be able to reach out companies, individuals, institutions as well as philanthropist for the needed support.

* We intended to have not less  than hundred donors to assist/adopt  the needy persons such as orphans, street  children’s, young  widows, the  poor  but  sick persons ect.

* We would like to organize campaign walks on anti drugs, anti HIV/AIDS and Violent Free Home/marriages and friendships.

* To setup youth and students clubs within the communities and schools/institutions.

IMPLIMENTATIONS IN 2008

 

 * We went to schools and colleges in a fact finding mission.

 * We went to about 14 schools within our areas of operations, to our surprise and shock, we realized more than 200 students and pupils of the visited schools and colleges needed urgent assistance in terms of uniforms, footwear and stationary to facilitate their learning process.

 

* We were able to setup a committee which will be responsible for scholarship schemes to cater for needy but brilliant pupils and students.

* We also setup a committee in charge of fund raising.

* We were able to set another committee to take charge of the educational and awareness campaigning within schools, communities as well as homes among others.
